Frequently asked questions about Markavo's Petition to Revive Service

Updated today

If your application is abandoned, it's no longer live and can’t mature into a registration. This can happen for many reasons; for example, if you missed the filing deadline to respond to an Office Action or missed the deadline to file a Statement of Use.

If your application is abandoned but you still want to pursue a trademark registration, you may be able to revive your application by filing a petition.

Note that trademark applications are abandoned when you fail to meet an earlier deadline and then you must address these earlier issues in addition to filing the Petition to Revive. These other issues will require additional legal and government fees. Please contact us for a quote for your unique case.
